He instructs and trains other physicians how to assess the aging face and how to use injection techniques to maximize results. Due to his experience and training, Dr. Schwartz is the only physician in Vermont who can inject Sculptra Aesthetic, a new longer term anti-aging treatment for facial volume replacement.

Dr. Schwartz has appeared numerous times on ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox 44 news discussing various skin related topics ranging from skin cancers and cold sore virus to sun damage and selection of sunscreens. He has also appeared on television demonstrating techniques for injecting facial fillers for rejuvenation and enhancement. Dr. Schwartz has authored numerous journal publications including recent articles in Professional Skier Magazine and Best of Burlington Magazine reviewing the damaging effects of ultraviolet light from the sun and how to select the proper sunscreen.

In this bewildering climate of claims made by the various cosmeceutical companies, how can a consumer distinguish the truth from the hype? Dr. Schwartz’ extensive backgrounds as a research chemist and as a dermatologist places him in the unique position to critically evaluate the various claims made by skin care product manufacturers. Additionally, either Dr. Schwartz or his staff uses every product he recommends. He and his staff are available to provide consultation and answer your specific questions either on-line or by telephone.
